Rwanda generated more than $13 million from exports between Feb. 2 and Feb. 6, 2026, the National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB) said.
The five-day total amounts to more than 19 billion Rwandan francs and includes revenue from coffee, tea, vegetables, fruits, flowers and livestock products.
Coffee accounted for the largest share of earnings, with 650 tons exported and generating $3.9 million. Tea exports reached 958 tons, bringing in $2.8 million, according to NAEB. Rwanda also exported 363 tons of vegetables valued at more than $390,539.
The United Kingdom, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, Germany and France were among the leading destinations for vegetable exports. Rwanda also shipped agricultural products to several African countries during the same period.
Fruit exports totaled 267 tons and generated $311,860, with the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and Spain ranking as the top markets.
Flower exports exceeded 59 tons and earned $614,925, mainly from shipments to the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
Livestock products accounted for 364 tons and generated $676,440. These exports were primarily destined for the United Arab Emirates, other African countries and cross-border trade markets.
In addition, 6,732 tons of various other products generated $4.2 million, with the United Arab Emirates, African markets and cross-border trade among the leading destinations.
NAEB said the figures underscore the continued importance of agricultural exports to Rwanda’s foreign exchange earnings.
